Volunteer with Great Yarmouth Arts Festival

Great Yarmouth Arts Festival is back in September 2024. To help make it happen we are looking for volunteers. GYAF Volunteers can help in many ways, see below for a list of ways you can help us.

Social Media Promotion:

  • Helping our social media team with promoting our sponsors, our events and anything else via our online channels such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn.
  • Social Media volunteers can also help by responding to the public’s queries via DM’s, Comments and @mentions across our online platforms.

Website Maintenance:

Assisting our Marketing Director with adding content to our website, which is made with the WordPress CMS. (This can include adding our press releases, news stories, events and general maintenance on our standard pages)

Publicity Distribution:

  • General Publicity volunteers can help with distributing our Brochures, Posters and Banners which help promote the festival further away from the town. Our brochures and posters are generally ready two months before the festival, so this gives our distributors enough time to distribute them.
  • We aim to get around 2 volunteers per village (or small town) and about 4 per larger town.

Events Volunteers:

We also are looking for volunteers to help with organising and running our events, this can also be with simple tasks such as selling tickets. Events volunteers will work closely with our chairman, marketing director and general committee.

Photography/Videography Volunteers

People can also get involved by helping take photos and videos of our events, which we can use on our social media and website to further promote the festival for years to come.

How to Sign Up:

If you want to sign up as a volunteer for Great Yarmouth Arts Festival, please contact our Marketing Director, Lewis Ashdown on our Contact Form or 07879 345328 (leave a voicemail or message if no response via phone), so he can call back when he is available.
