Team Leader for Digital Systems & I.T.

Great Yarmouth Arts Festival is looking for a volunteer Digital Systems Team Leader to help manage our team for Digital Systems (including Website Development).

About Great Yarmouth Arts Festival

We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) which is run by its committee and overseen by our Board of Trustees (Directors). The company was founded in September 2011 to help raise money for the St. Nicholas Preservation Trust (Now the Great Yarmouth Minister Preservation Trust).

About the Role

The Team Leader for the Digital Systems role was formed to help our Marketing Director out with managing the Digital Systems and the volunteers within that section of the team.

The successful person will also be asked to help with the following (when they can):

– Being jointly responsible for the Microsoft 365 Active Directory, creating new users, etc.
– Responding to any IT Issues (that you have the knowledge of fixing)
– Updating content on the GYAF Website (WordPress).
– Assisting with the Development of our new Volunteer Manager system (using PHP/MySQL etc).
– Conducting 1:1 meetings with members of the Digital Systems team.

Personal Requirements for the Role

As this role is voluntary, there are no set requirements other than being committed and being willing to learn new skills and develop your current ones.

Technical Requirements for the Role

To be able to do this role we have a few low-level requirements regarding technology, see them below:

– A PC with Windows 10 or 11 or a Mac with macOS Catalina (2019) or later.
– Internet access
– You will also need access to the Microsoft Office suite
